We have several food plots on our hunting ground. Year in and year out, Alfalfa/ orchard grass plot sees the most deer. Red clover plot the next best.

It's probably still a little early yet. However, some bucks keep their racks for years. I don't know if these deer keep the same rack their whole life, but I know that it's not unheard of for a buck...

I heard a rumor this morning that the out of state bow tags for Illinois will go on sale march the 2nd. They said that the cost will be 295.00 for a single deer. Is this correct? If it is what's up...

I think the .260 Remington needs to be considered if you are going to consider the 7mm-08. The .260 has alittle less recoil, and with the standard 140 grain bullet is deadly on whitetails. I have one...
