In my Optima I usually push them thru the breech to the muzzle and then when needed just line them up with the grooves and they load nice and easy.

I have two of them, each one sits on a muzzleloader and I have found them to be reliable, clear and a great value. I like both of them. No issues with me on eye relief or seeing at dawn or dusk.

They were $22.49 for the bag of 50 or $0.45 per bullet. The Barnes TAC-XP's run about $32.00 for a box of 40 or $0.80 per bullet.

I would try montana bore extreme. Worked well for me on a used optima i bought but then used jb bore paste to smooth out the rough spots. Gun shoots 295 gr HP Powerbelts in the bull at 100 yds.

I own two and both are tack drivers at 100yds using pyrodex and 250 gr SSTs. I have not tried 777 in them. I bought them just to shoot at the range but they are permitted during hunting season here...

I bought one when they first came out and it has shot well with both BH and White Hots under a 250 Barnes MZ. I have never used it for hunting, preferring my Pursuit or all camo Vortek.
