RE: Depleted PA deer populations

While the buck harvest is dropping,
aren't these lucky 50,000 yearling bucks being compensated by the additional doe harvest
meaning that the total PA harvest is about the same.
Obviously...

RE: Depleted PA deer populations

I have permission on some private land in Wayne County (NE PA) and there are still too many deer. I don't see 150 does on opening day like I used to, but there are still too many. The forest is...

RE: Climbing tree stand

I bought a "non-typical" this year.
Positives is that it is incredibly secure and quiet.
Negative is that the seat is not that confortable, even for a med sized rear-end.
Anybody else have this...

RE: Ted Nudgent (This guy is Cra--Z)

Nugent is a disaster. If we need him to publicly support bowhunting, we are in big trouble.

His show starts with a 5 minute "spirit of himself" rock and roll introduction and then invariably he...

Nosler Ballistic Tips

Seems to be a conflict of terms..
Nosler is meant to penetrate deep and give you an exit hole (pretty vital IMHA)
Ballistic tips are meant to explode and cause max shock..
Is it possible to...

RE: 5 Wisconsin hunters killed

This is not a hunting incident..
Just like 9/11/01 was not an international tragedy.
This is mass murder...
This is serial killing...
This should have nothing to do with giving hunters or...
