A good headlamp is something to bring on almost any hunt. Something to filter Water (pump, tablets, etc..) Zip ties are useful for lots of things.

Turkey Load for a 16 Guage??

I recently inherited my late Grandpa's 16 guage shotgun. It has a full choke. I thought it would be neat to try & harvest a turkey with his old shotgun. I know shotshell selection is very limited...

Congrats on the nice Tom. Tack the fan out on a piece of plywood. Use small nails or tacks. Don't over spread it. Put borax on the meat on the beard also. Let the fan dry for a couple months, reapply...

Sounds like you have some nice hunting land there. I've never hunted Florida but i'm guessing its generally the same everywhere. With very little pressure they should be out in the open fields/food...
