I agree with everything said one other thing I use is 2 bungee cord to wrap from one side of the stand to the other on my side. Keeps the stand from slipping when I move around to turn around.

I think it is excellent mid to late season. Early season the does will avoid it due to fawns. I also used Coon sent and have had deer almost step on me walking past me on the ground.

Unless you have the FFFg on hand I would use FFg powder. FFFg is mostly used for pistol. Also is you don;t have powder I would use either Triple 7 or Jim Shockey Gold both clean up so much better...
