RE: Cedar arrers

I've had good luck with mixing RIT dye with denatured alcohol. Use a hole package and just enough liquid so it's not real "gritty". Wipe on, let dry, and repeat a couple times. I did some black...

RE: MY new SElf Bow I just finished

Looks good. I shoot my selfbows at least 100 times before I finish them. The tiller will often change as the bow is shot in. Also it might just be the angle of the picture but the top limb looks like...

RE: Stringer or no Stringer?

LBR I' m guilty of using the push/pull method on longbows. I do it on my longbow and selfbows but I use a stringer for my recurves. It' s just a bad habit I guess.

RE: CM Firebird?

I had a Firebird. It was a fast little bow. I used flemish strings and yarn silencers, and it really was a quiet shooter. I draw a recurve 28" and didn' t notice any stacking. It was only 45#@26" ...

RE: Fletching tape

I used it and I was shooting this weekend. The weather was in the twenties. I had three feathers come off. I like it, but need to check my methods if others aren' t having problems.

RE: Whats the best way?

I try to avoid storing them on end. I usually take a few heavy rubber bands and bundle them together then lay them flat somewhere dry. I think this helps avoid warping. I' ve never bought 100 before,...

I would suggest...
