Hair triggers aren't bad if you get a good release. I have my Scott set to a hair trigger and there's nothing better than a surprise release from my experience. With my Scott I can touch the trigger...

I agree with above. No mass and the pic doesn't give a good idea of spread but I'd say the spread doesn't appear to be more that 16".
Nice looking buck, it does have lots of character.

The best advice I can offer is listen to your doctor and get yourself a comfortable recliner if you don't already have one!!!!!
