two sided tape has to be 3m brand or your wasting your molo. the kind they use in auto body make sure you clean surfaces very clean it will hold like its bolted on no need to ruff it up.

i have a patriot 03 at 60 # shooting a beeman 400ics with vanes and 125 grain head at 265fps 28 inches long weight 425 grains draw 30 inches.also a pro 40 04 at 64#and 30 inch draw shooting 251fps....

10 yards is to close to sight in. parallax sets in you can tell how far you have to be from the target by looking though the scope up and down and side to side if the dot on the object dose not move...
