IF you do choose recurve I would suggest a Fred Bear bow around 40-45 pounds as well. I'd either get a Grizzly model or a Montana or Patriot Longbow.

it's not legal in most states if any to hunt turkey with rifle. Shotgun and Bow are the only and best ways to hunt them

This is a rare instance of bad shooting, ive seen deer running around with a bullet whole in there gut from rifles. it doesnt matter what you use for weapon, things like this unfortunately happen....

bear recurves off ebay and they were probably the best I've bought. One word of advice though, if your fortunate enough to buy a black widow used off...

I'd have to say Kershaw is mine. Warranty is amazing and customer service is top notch. Not to mention the knives are the best I've owned.
