FWIW, i'm going to junk the stand. Talked to my uncle and he has a new summit viper he said he didn't mind if I used until I could save up the money to buy me a nice stand. Thanks for the help guys.

yep it had that kind of belt system. It's definitely NOT treelounge. I don't really doubt it, it seems pretty sturdy. I'm going to take it out and hang/jump/pounce/play jumping jacks on this thing...
