The normal gestational period for a whitetail deer is 200-210 days or roughly 7 months. If you saved the fetus, a deer biologist could tell you almost exactly the date of conception.

I tend to believe that the mature doe is the very one you want to harvest most. Actually, it is probably advantageous to harvest every mature doe you can. Remember, the mother doe is the catalyst...

How is it that the 7mm mag has a greater selection of bullet sizes than the 7mm-08? If a person hand loads, most any 7mm you'd want should work for each, right?

I have a .243 in the synthetic, superlight model of the NEF HandiRifle. It is a good shooter & well worth the money.

I think I gave around $200 for mine.
