22 mag is pushing it for longer range but a .223 will take them down as far as you can see them. a number of people use a .223 for yotes i personall use a .222 imo the 06 is a bit overkill for a yote

i'd just get yourself a good pair of carharts or something like that and just start walking through brush piles. thats what we do an we seem to have pretty good sucess that way. hope that helps

i would guess by the size and shape they are fox tracks. coyote tracks are generally bigger but the placement of the middle toes on a coyote are farther apart and evenly spaced with the outer toes....
