Make things easy on yourself and buy from a gun shop or major sporting goods store where they will mount the scope for you. They should know what rings will and wont work. I have had my best luck...

Better double check with DNR about shed traps. They are illegal in many states. If word gets out that you got the sheds from a shed trap and they're illegal, you're toast.

I am also a big fan of the Ultra Slug Hunter, and have only good things to say about this gun! The recoil is MINIMAL compared to my Remington 12 gauge slug gun. I also recommend the 20 over the 12....

The seat on my tree stand is squeeking a bit this year. Do any of you use WD-40 or are you concerned that deer will smell it? Let me know of any alternatives to WD-40 that you might use as well.

Who cares what it looks like?

I recommend the laminated stock becuase it is easier to hang on to when it gets cold and wet. The plain wood seems a little slippery to me.
