Muzzy, if you let the string pull your hand down after let off the arrow 'will' bounce off the launcher arms. You need to keep holding the string and almost creep it down to brace.

The Whammy is 'not' a full containment rest like the WB. The Octane Hostage Pro is similar to the WB for containment, whereby you can rest the bow onits side without the arrow dropping off the rest.

I guess then it would not be as easy, mainly because the grip is not in the center of the riser, so you will pretty much have to brace the bow above the grip to get the string angles to match.
