they keep trying to come out with something to sell...i use winchester 3.5 high velocity 5's with a kicks choke...i've killed turkeys past 60 yards for 5 years, and haven't thought about trying...

that's a good deal...if you already have a shotgun, check with american barrel company..they make rifled replacement barrels for most major manufactures...they are also around $200...alot less than...

any $300 scope is as good as a $1200 scope for normal hunting condition..you're definitely buying a name if you pay more than $500...the lens polishing is the main objective, imo...i've got more...

i killed my biggest deer out of a box stand....but i hunt out of a climber about 95% of the time....if possible, i like to get at least 30 foot high...not only to be hidden, but for scent...

the bucks got approximately 18" main beams, his g2's are about 9", and he's probably about 5 1/2, 4, 3 1/2, 3.....when do you need one scored???

another idea would be the nef handi-rifle...it comes in alot of caliber choices and additional barrels can be purchased for $ 100 if you want to change....they are currently about 249 in wood and 259...

regardless of caliber, a 100 grain bullet should be the lightest you go...this is the lightest. you are taking a big chance of wounding and losing a deer to suffer, if you don't make a near perfect...

if your soil is right, plant corn and soybeans together...its not as expensive as the "premium" blends...it fattens up the deer and gives them protein for growth and antlers...by fall they'll be in...

about 90 % of my hunting, in the woods, is done with a 45/70...they legalized them a few years back, as a primitive weapon, and i use it all season..it don't play...you hit a deer almost anywhere,...

there's not enough difference in those two to make a true argument....with the exception of case capacity...you can shoot 220's with a 06, but you'd be better off with any magnum 7mm or bigger...:)
