IMO... Once we understand that this is entertainment we then need to look at what/who is good for hunting. with all the milllion shows out there that I feel dont do a very good job of promoting...

I agree. Dont think it would be possible. Iowa's landscape has changed so much in the past 100-200 years. Would be nice though not to have to go west to hunt them!

Blew off work and finally got out today. Two matching sets and one single. Measured one set 65" one side 60'' other.

Dont leave early. Sounds like a no-brainer but if you are ready to leave on a morning hunt stay a little longer and always stay till dark!!!

shed hunt. shed hunt, and shed hunt in that order. Also yote hunting, indoor shooting and working as much extra as I can so I can take off for hunting season.

I agree salukipv1. That idea sounds pretty good. As a bowhunter Iowa is as good as it gets. We have all of Oct. and Nov. to bowhunt only (other than youth seasons) So the rut is just forbowhunters....
