RE: Summit Climber

Question for you Summit Viper users. Do you use your stand for bow hunting? I'm wondering if the bar will interfere with bow movement when trying to take a shot. Wondering if maybe the Cobra X4 might...

Buck sign

I was doing some scouting a few days ago and noticed a large number of rubs and scrapes. I normally don't see this many until toward the middle to end of October, I am hunting in MN. Seems very early...

MN Success

Just finished the MN 5th season on Saturday. Hunting was very tough. The birds around here were not responding to calling very well. They would gobble at your calls, but showed very little interest...

Turkey walker

Has anyone tried the 'turkey walker'? It's a decoy on a track. When you pull the cord, the decoy moves on the track. when it reaches the end it spins around and comes back. Seems like it might be a...

RE: A question about the Summit Viper...

I've looked at the Viper and am wondering how comfortably can you hold your bow. You can't always hang it. Also, doesn't the rail get in the way when you want to get your bow up to shoot?

RE: Benelli NOVA

My two sons both have Novas and they are very smooth handling. Eveytime you bring the gun up it is exactly where it should be. The rattle is not an issue. I would recommend it.

RE: benelli nova or mossberg 835

I have an 835 and my sons have Novas. The Nova is by far the smoother handling gun. I only use the 835 for turkeys, but for an all around gun, I would go for the Nova!

RE: Decoy delema

I used the " Bubba" half strut decoy twice. Both times I had birds spook from it. One was a jake, but the other was a big tom. Bubba stays at home now when I go.
