I suppose the same could be said of the new sabots yes? However they did seal better than ticking for sure and stood up to 90 grs. with no lube or blowouts.
Were not messy and loaded like a tight...

They were indeed a sabot to hold a round ball. Cupped on both ends so orientation was no problem, and I reused them when found at the range with no real accuracy loss to speak of. They would split to...
