I shoot my .22's a lot. Pistol too. Ammo is cheap for them so that's what I practice with. If I can hit my target with my .22 I can hit it with my 30-06 or ML.

My .22 LR is best for me. I like my .17 mach II, but the ammo I shoot cost more than the .22 ammo does. I only have that gun just to have it.

I clean and let it hang until the blood drains and then butcher. One I've got the meet off it goes in the cooler and I wash excess blood off. then its put on ice.

I've never experimented with it...

I use 165 grain interbond light magnums in my 30-06. They shoot very accurate through my rifle.

Close range or way out there, the stuff devastates deer. The farthest one got was about 20 yards....
