This can be argued to death, but I guess it all depends on what types on hunting your going to be doing. Ive always liked drop aways, and never owned a whisker biscuit til this year and wont got back...

I would look into the areas around the various lakes throughout the state, there isn't much for walk-in during the spring that holds turkeys but I do real well in eastern kansas hunting public land...
