I was sitting under a tree this year and had a doe walk up to me, she stopped about 4 yards away and never caught my scent. That made me feel pretty safe for the rest of the weekend.

A mountain lion was caught on a trail cam about a mile from my stand. Needless to say I was a little nervous going to the stand with just my bow. Hahaha

During the rut I use a bleat. Works very well.
Out of the rut I rattle, works better then for me. Maybe it's just random luck who knows.
