RE: Which Broadheads Do You Shoot?

I've used Muzzys for the last 10 years. No complaints until last year. I spined a decent sized 7 pt. The deer dropped where it stood. The Muzzy 100 3 bladed worked but one of the blades was rolled...

RE: Browning X-Bolt

I finally got to put my hands on an X-bolt. Nice looking gun but I was not overly impressed. The action felt a little sticky compared to the two Rem. 700's I have. I can't see paying the $300...

RE: What are resonable groups to expect from a Browning BAR?

Mine will shoot 1" groups at 100yds with Rem. factory ammo. BAR triggers suck, though. After shooting my bolt action with the 3lb trigger, the BAR feels horrendous.

RE: Browning BAR

It's a grade 1 in 30-06 cal. No rust with a few dings in the stock and forearm. None of the dings have cracked the finish and are basically small indentions that are not noticeable past arms...

Browning BAR

I'm thinking about selling or trading my BAR. It's an older model Belgian gun. How much of a factor is being Belgian made gonna have on it's value?

RE: Sick of Hunting Shows!!!

To me, watching all those hunting shows is about like watching the Playboy channel........it's fun to watch, but the majority of us will never experience it.....yet you keep on tuning in.

RE: Anyone take big deer every year?

I agree with the post above........I'm in a similar situation. I've been hunting the same 80 acre tract for the last 10 yrs. I've only taken 2 bucks that I consider big. Around my neck of the woods,...

RE: glock 19 or 23??

I have a 19 that's close to 20 yrs. old. Good shooting gun and easy to carry. If you have big hands, you may wanna go with the 17. If I was buying a new one, though, I'd go with a 40 or 45. Like you,...

RE: Bullet seating depth

The cases were fired in my gun, Spaniel. The more I look at the rounds, I'm thinking case trimming would have remedied the problem. But then again, I don't know squat about reloading. I'm gonna...

RE: Bullet seating depth

My rifle is a Rem. 700 in .260 cal. After all of the sharpie marking and visual comparisons between the reloads and a factory round, I'm leaning more toward the bullet not being seated deep enough....

RE: What Caliber Do you shoot?

My go to gun is a Rem. 700 .260. I also have a BAR 30-06 that hasn't seen any action in 4 years. Nothing wrong with the 06 but the .260 is a sweet shooter. Quarter sized groups or less @100yds., low...

RE: Bullet seating depth

I've examined the bullets more closely. It appears to me that the casings are a tiny fraction longer than the Rem. factory loads I compared them to. But heck, I'm about blind, anyway. I did the...

Bullet seating depth

I had a guy reload some rounds for me. When I cycle a round, the bolt is hard to lock all the way down. When I remove the bullet, the slug is barely scarred near the crimp point of the brass. I know...

RE: New member

Finally figured out how to post pics. First buck of 2008. Nice buck for my area. I'd like to think this is the basket racked eight I let walk last year.
