It does happen, deer do just pop out of nowhere when unexpected. But A hunting show is going to be a hunting show. You cant have a show where a guy sits in a stand for 8 hours sees nothing for 3 days...

Treestand in early to mid season then ground blind when it gets tooo cold to be 20 feet up in the air with the cold cold Ohio winter wind beating on you. I have had great success with both.

Thanks for the info I just have about a 45 min drive to my spot and usually it is a productive spot but the last 3 trips were days of seeing nothing at all. so I will keep at it and hope for the best.
