I love using my Kershaw Scallion. It's super sharp and works great for all of my outdoor needs. It's not too small and not too big so it fits anywhere easily.

I like to se the Remmington Core-Lokt 100 grain and the Winchester Super X 100 grain. They have both worked very well for me and I haven't losta deer yet.

I am from PA myself and I believe any of the state forests in our state would work well for your story. They are all easily accessable and fairly large. If I were you I would choose Clear Creek State...
