but going that long on a string could be dangerous,
but i shoot all year so i put alot more shots on my stringsthan alot of people
but strings can fail...

i started shooting 2" QS ST's this year. and i could hit masterfly at 40 yards with field tips but stick my muzzy 100 grain on and i might as well have been...

well i wouldnt blame the quikspins ,
sounds to me like the bow wasnt in tune,.

even most out of tune bows will throw decent groups with field tips,
but put a fixed head on and good luck.

it seems you have tuning confused with sighting in.

french tuning is not for sighting in , it is for tuning your bow.
theres noother way to sightin your bow for 60yds

get the quikspin ST's, the newest version.

they DO NOT get messed up even when passing through a hard 3d target.

the old quikspins were terrible for durability ,
but the new ST's are...

heres a pic of the tube ,
i took the rings off to show that the tube is in perfect shape underneath.

i figured that it would make a difference to "me"
if i could see the whole tube or not...

if you increase your poundage you WILL have to retune ,
just remember to turn each limb bolt exactly the same amount.

and the answer about the arrows is correct ,

i have had my groups open up alot by an arrowbeing TOO stiff ,
slightly stiff dosent seem to matter
but overly stiff gives me terrible grouping.

at what distance are you shooting 6" groups...

i have a perfect condition barska 3-12x50mm illuminated reticle riflescope,

with leupold rifleman rings that fit any weaver style slotted base,

and front and rear butler creek flip up scope...

this is just my opinion but...

paper tuning is not the only tuning you should do ,
its just a way to get close to start with,

after paper tuning , its then time to walkback/broadhead...

to fly with field points.

being overspined is always better than being underspined!!!
