I used the original plug....Drilled out the flash hole from .028 to .035 and switched to CCIm primers. No more blow back than before. The primers occasionally separate, but pose no safety issues....

Any ballistic program should work equally well using your muzzleloader. Sabots shouldn't make a difference. I use the one below and it has proven to be accurate compared torange...

These work well with .45 bullets in sabots. Use the .454Casull/50AE. They're short enough to pull the bullets and sabots out with your fingers.

I've got a Bushnell 4200 and a Nikon Buckmaster. They both have proven to be durable scopes with good light. The Bushnell has a rainguard lenses coating that helps keep it clearer when wet.

Try the blacks with .458 bullets
Try the reds with .450-.452 bullets.

I agree with chap on the Barnes Originals. If you want a consistently accurate 300 gn bullet that's a deadly performer, it's as good as any.
