go with the federal 180 barnes triple shock x bullet. or regular old soft points will work to. 180 grains is good for a mixed bag hunt.otherwiseif only going for moose i would recommend a 200 or 220...

just because more younger deer are taken doesnt mean that there arnt big bucks around. i used to think the same think, until i saw a few dandies around an area that i thought only contained 3.5 year...

i would consider a buck droping dead of natural causes, something like the buck is walking/running along and has a heart attack. or he is so old his hip gives out and he goes under,weather something...

choosing a rifle depends on what you want. wood stocked, nice looking rifle will cost more than a synthetic stocked ugly gun. savage, remington should be a bare minimum...

sometimes we find northern pike and muskies that are HUGE washed up on shore on the lakes around here. these fish are so big that they are apex preditors, nothing kills them! so they must die of old...

of all the rounds i fired i have never had a centerfire misfire. only had that happen with some cheap .22 LR ammo that was old. take your gun to a gunsmith and have it checked out. i doubt high end...
