Good to hear. My friend has a taurus 1911 and he says exactly what you've said. he has almost 800 rounds through it and no malfunctions. i think for the money they are a pretty darn good gun.

I agree with hossdaniels on the franchi. my dad had one in a 28 gauge and he shot everything with it. those are pretty good, easy to shoot guns. i think a 20 or 12 would be a good gun to have....
