On our land in Missouri, we put up wooden posts painted purple on our line about every 30-40 yards this past spring. Hopefully it works but we have had problems like this as well.

Yup, same here...usually just put it on a hook or tree limb but think I will get a quiver bracket that screws in this year so it is sturdier if I need a second arrow.
