My Nano works best off of Winchester ammo but only JHP. But runs 100% reliable on Hornady critical duty 135 grain.

It will not run on any FMJ, and just forget it if you would like to run 115...

No. I live up here in Montana, I dont my self but my wife use's a 270 for Elk & Bear. I use a 300weatherby. I do have a 270 but that is just for antelope. and 308 for deer.And my 280 for everything...

Yes the Montana is a lot like the model 70 action. But the Surgeon Rifle Action to me is too much like a Remington. And I cannot stand a Remington.
