RE: Why you video?

I started because I wanted to preserve the memories of my hunts with friends and family. Then I realized in addition to filming myself and my friends, I could film others and make a little side cash....

RE: Replies Vs. Hits (Our Posts)

I think a lot more people would do it, but the fact is, it's tough. It's hard enough to kill a deer with a bow, but to self-video it is even harder! It's definitly getting more popular and I'm sure...

Need help with a video problem

Got some great footage of a 12 year old boy shooting a P&Y quality buck (won't make it due to a broken G3 but a NICE buck anyway). The shot was questionable so we watched the tape in the tree 3-4...

RE: Episode II comes down tomorrow to make way for III

When you say make room, do you mean room on your page or on the server? If it's just a page issue, put up a link to click on to download or view the past episodes and just have the current episode as...

RE: what to do

That's also good advice! How do you handle that situation with the hunter? Does the hunter know thay you'll be moving the camera and should expect that the deercould spot you and that is just a risk...

RE: what to do

I had a similar situation the other day. You 2 need to communicate and locateHIS shooting lanes andYOUR filming lanes when you first get set up. Next time, when you see the deer coming in, try to...

RE: Buck kill I captured on film

Regarding the truck footage, I just wedged it on the dash and drove slow! I heard another guy mention that he puts rice in a super large ziplock back and rests the camera on that. Sounds like a great...

RE: Camo Camera? Protection?

1 - I don't have any camo on my camera or accesories. I also film weddings with the same camera as hunts and thought it might make my camera gear look "red-neck" which you obviously don't want when...

RE: Buck kill I captured on film

I've got a Sony Handi-Cam too. I don't know of any way to enhance the sound. If you are new to filming, I would suggest using your handi-cam this season and upgrade next year.

RE: Looking at Prosumer HD video cameras...

I've got the HDR-FX1 which is similar but it lacks the 20x zoom. Only has a 12x zoom. It's fine for filming while hunting but I wish I had the better zoom for velvet footage.
