I think the Vision 175 is a lot nicer shaped reverse limb crossbow. I'd buy a 175 if they ever get it off the ground.

It doesn't take too many shots for the cock vane to wear down anyway. I think that problem is only with TP bows. Excals and Desert Strykers have deeper barrel grooves.
