I did find this company near me that appears to apply a soft touch finish over the finishes. I think I will give this a try. I hope it comes out as nice as the Accura stock.

I would definitely do that. I don't see the soft touch option, but I will give them a call and get a little more information. Do you know if the end result is similar to what CVA does on the Accura?

I think I'll keep the scope for now. I'm going to see how I like it on my cantilever slug barrel on my Rem 11/87. The glass in this scope is REALLY nice. For a $200 (roughly) it's an excellent value.

It's got the 3 position safety anda walnut stock. It kicks but I don't find it uncomfortable. I will check those screws. And I seem to recall that when I first go t the gun I tried...
