for those concerned about studded tires, why not just put the studs on when you get to the ice road?
You can pick up those that just basically screw in, when your heading home just take them back...

The deer i posted was green scored and its close, once dried and scored which should be taking place at Basspro during their spring event by a panel of FROW scorers it will be confirmed either way.

that deer was archery that i posted, guess i should of noted that, you know if that deer will get scored? Should have a great gross score but will lose big time on the net, still an awesome Ontario...

We ended up with 4 deer in NC, my 14yr old got 2 and my dad got 2. i didn;t see anything worth shooting, had loads of spikes and does walking around but the coolers weren;t empty and my buddy down...

I know an outfitter who has great success each and every year in NW Ontario, which has now become the place to go in Canada for good trophy whitetails.
Would only be insulted if you spelt Canadian...

biggest issue with any new bow hunter hunting moose is the "shock and awe" factor when you have a big bull swaying his head back and forth, "woofing" every other step and realizing how small you are...

any of todays top end bows are good.
I personally use the Bowtech Patriot, and some others in the camp use the Switchback and even a Darton.
Arrow and broadheads are personal choice and depends...

So i guess a compound bow is out as well since there is such a thing as a long bow, it does specify " long bow" . This is one of those things that is within the spirit of the law and not the letter...
