RCBS....again

I recently traded my 30-06 Encore pistol barrel for a .22-250 barrel. I've been reloading for about 25 years or so, and in that time I've done a few "things", like broke a few decapping pins ,...

RE: P O Ackley cartridge

I had my Ruger #1B rechambered to a 30-06 a.i. just because that is what I wanted to do. If I get enough money saved up that the wife doesn't know about, I'll send the barrel from my cheap NEF and...

RE: OCL vs Ogive

I'm just a bit less anal than some, I suppose. The only time I had any trouble with any rifle brass was when I used some probably twice (or more) fired Nickle plated brass when fire forming loads for...

RE: Overgunned for Whitetail

I've never been overgunned for white tail. They've gotten so big and mean and tough that the gun companies are working on bigger and better cartridges every day!

RE: Remington Model 710 In 7mm Rem Mag

I've heard it referred to as an expensive fence post.. The one or two that I handled were handed back to the salesman almost as fast.. I suppose the "new and improved" model won't be much better.

What can I expect?

I'll be getting in a 15" encore barrel in 22-250 sometime this week, along with the dies, brass and bullets needed for feeding it. I've never fiddled with so small a caliber before. What can I...
