Proud of my Daughter

Took my daughter to her first 3D shoot and she placed 2nd in the intermediate division!! She was excited, I was too. There were 8 shooters in her division. I'm a proud Dad!!!!!:)

I think it is a good idea, lots of people out there that have just enough knowledge to make them dangerous. The course I went to was very helpful and also just reinforced some things I already knew....

I am not a Professional Hunter, I do it because I enjoy being outdoors, I also enjoy putting meat in the freezer. I also enjoy the companionship of other hunters around the campfire at deer camp.

Had a PSE then bought a Drenalin LD and I love it. Mathews are great bows. But there are a lot of other good bows out there. Wonderful to have so many choices!!!

I'm going to shoot at the range, and shoot in some 3D shoots. When I'm not doing that, I'm going to shoot in my backyard. I also have the option of hog hunting, there is a bounty on them all year...

I had a "flapper" on one of my vanes sounded like a mad bumble bee so I took some scissors and cut it out, not the whole vane just the flap,flight wasn't affected and it is a lot quieter!

Had a similar thing happen the other day, little sliver of carbon stripped off shop pro told me to pitch it. Plus those pictures say plenty, just isn't worth it.

Pro Shop here in south georgia is selling them like crazy. I can't shoot one, draw length is 31 inches, but I would have one if I could. It is one smokin' bow. Mathews has a good bow in the DXT.

Can you use a heavier broadhead to improve flight? I just went to a stiffer spined arrow, .300, and my broadheads are landing to the right of where my field points hit. I am shooting 100gr. heads.
