RE: Built my own

That's pretty awesome. Is the kit for just 1 camera or can you build 2 with each kit?

RE: question - need some advice

RE: Hunting Blinds

If you can hunt private land, set it up and brush it in at least 7 days before you hunt. In some places where I hunt, old farm machinery has been there forever and deer will walk right next to it....

The DNR here in Minnesota will take road kill to the butcher and put it on the food shelf for the needy if the person who hit it does not want it.

RE: To stop a deer in its tracks

I always go for the heart and lung area. Here's why. The kill area of this shot is 100%. You may have to track a little but so what. I have yet to see any of my deer go beyond 125 yards with a shot...

RE: 22-250 for deer?

It is a very good varmint rifle, but would rather use a .243. I am sure they kill deer with good shot placement but 22-250 may be illegal in some states.

RE: Packing in to hunt whitetails.

I have hunted bear and whitetails in the Boundary Waters Canoe area in northern Minnesota. You cannot use anything with wheels or a motor. Some hunts we have been 2 days from the nearest road. We...

What broadheads do you use?

Does anyone have a favorite broadhead that they use? If you are using a mechanical broadhead, have you experienced any problems with them?

RE: pissing in the woods

I have heard both sides of this argument before. I have never done it myself, but find it interesting. Deer are curious by nature, and from the farm country where I live, people piss in the fields...
