Seriously you have to involve the police/wardens. Even put up one of those game cams(fairly cheap).IS it your land or just your hunting spot??

Personally I like the .223 (AR-15) or similar,or even my .22 Magnum. But it also depends where you plan to hunt (wooded areas,large fields,etc) good luck

The Bushmaster AR-15 is an excellent choice. But you can find many high quality AR's like Rock Island like was mentioned/Colt. I've found some AR's don't like the cheap Wolf russian ammo for target...
