RE: Question about Michigan Vacation

I second the Traverse City suggestion. We've been there a few times including last summer and it's always great. We stayed up in Suttons Bay when we went this summer because the room rates in...

RE: Michigan Turkey Tags

I just purchase the guaranteed hunt because I enjoy the schedule flexibility. One of these years I'll try one of the earlier seasons.

RE: Michigan Hunters

Right you are and this why the DNR has worked to make it easy for hunters to shoot them on sight without worry for rules and regulations (even though there are a few).

Where does this guy live?

RE: Michigan Hunters

As long as you hold a current license for the season and are hunting with a valid weapon for that season you may shoot them. For example, I could have a small game license and be hunting coyotes with...

RE: Michigan Hunters

As long as you have a valid hunting license (i.e. small game license) you are free to harvest them. The DNR is pretty adament about making sure they are harvested so they don't get established.

RE: best squrriel gun

Personally I like the .17HMR. It's an extremely accurate round which means head shots and no wasted meat. I've been shooting a Marlin Model 17VS for a few years now and have been extremely impressed.
