Admiral Review and weight

I plan on buying an Admiral in the next week. Can anyone who has one give me their review, opinion on it? Also, what is the weight of the bare bow?

Octane Products camo

Why would you offer all these camo patterns for the Bowtechs and only choosen ones for the Octane line?!

They should offer all camo patterns in Octane Products....lame!

RE: Bowtechs slower IBO's?!

Good posts!

I think I mislead everyone when "speed" was my only concern. I own a Guardian because quietness, handshock, and smoothness are first on my list. I was just a little dissappointed...

RE: Bowtechs slower IBO's?!

I understand that...I'd appreciate an even quieter and smoother bow with the same speeds, but I do like higher speeds as well. The Admiral is still at the top of my "new bow" list for January but I...

RE: Bowtechs slower IBO's?!

I mean that they should improve their own IBO speeds from their last year models. If the Guardian was putting out 329 fps., I would think they would try to improve the Captain to 329+ for 2009 if it...

Bowtechs slower IBO's?!

Aren't the newer models suppose to have equal or greater IBO's? What's the dealBowtech experts? I Like the Bowtech's, but why give up the speeds in 2009?

RE: Gloves?

Gloves suck! I hate wearing them but have no choice. I recentley bought these Browning Waterfowl gloves from Bass pro Shop that work well. They have a nice textured grip but aren't too bulky.

RE: Looking for a new bow... Mathews? Hoyt?

I heard that the Hoyt's are loud?! I could appreciate the toughness of the bow but wouldn't sacrifice that for noise! Try them all. Hell, I'm trying an Elite tomorrow but like Bowtech.
