I'm left-handed and shoot Barnett, Horton, and Excalibur... Safety release is right-handed on Barnett, Horton is both sides, Excalibur is centered at the rear for both right and left hands.

What kind of crossbow shoots @ 230 fps, recurve or compound? I have an ancient Barnett Panzer Recurve that shoots about that speed. Very accurate too, I might add...

I have had my Horton Hunter for 8yrs and use a red dot scope...love the accuracy, performance and quality. Don't have any nor had any problems. Go for it. Good luck.
