well i have only ever had 2 .. a CVA staghorn i think i got in 1997 for christmasand a CVA wolf..... and while the Staghorn was my first ML and have shot quite a few deer with it i would have to say...

i have see thru mounts on my ML .... only reason i have them on mine is because in michigan ... we have snow, sleet, rain, sun and anything else the clouds can throw at us plus 60 degrees and then 10...

works good far as i can tell... cant let it get too cold or it tends not to foam up ... and i believe the directions say leave in for 30 min.. i leave it in for an hour and never had any issues.

well i doubled that and bought one priced at $120 (one of the better ones in the trophy series)and thats about what i could afford.. and like i said.... i really think im going to be happy with it.

i shoot 100grains and nope like i said i usually dont shoot past 75 yards... mostly cause where i hunt at i dont have to .. but i wouldnt anyways. so i guess ill give these a whirl and if they work...
