The modified choke is your better option, or even and improved, this is debated. The full probably cannot have steel go through it, so you are correct.

Benelli Nova. Easiest gun to clean after a nasty day in the field. I've not had any problems other than having to tighten an action rod once. Works great now. Shoots so smooth.

It depends on what you use it for. My cousin got the extra full earlier this year. Saturday he shot a goose retreating at 70 yards. He didn't knock it stone cold, but enough to bring him down.
