RE: views on hi-point 9mm

A C9 was my first handgun, actually, and I never hada problem with it. I put...maybe 3,000 rounds?....through it, I never had it jam on me, but my gf managed to stove-pipe it regularly. It was fairly...

Good pointer Ridge, I'm going to start giving that a try. I've always done a "settling shot", but that sounds much cheaper. lol

RE: Handgun question

Well, no expense spared, the Kimber's are great guns, as are the Glocks. Taurus just released a new 1911 that's about half the price of the Kimber .45's, not as flashy though.

I'm assuming you...

RE: .577 NE or .600 NE double rifle?

I think basically what everyone is trying to say is that you've made five, six comments on this one thread and none of them have been in any way helpful....more like demeaning. Honestly I think the...

RE: .577 NE or .600 NE double rifle?

Too bad more peopledon't have your attitude towards people wanting to learn about our sport, or we could just about stomp it out. [:@]

RE: Suprise Rifles

Yeah, that's how I started out too. I don't know about the .338, but it does kick harder than my .300 Win Mag. I had a flinch for years.

RE: Sharps / .45-70 ???'s

Well, they shoot blackpowder, not smokeless powder.....so they are essentiallyblackpowder rifles....but it doesn't make them legal to hunt with around here.

RE: Remington model 710 7mm

Every 710 I've ever seen shot wasn't much to look at, nor did it handle very well, but they grouped decently, and killed things fairly reliably.....if that's what you've got, use it.

RE: Short to Mid range deer caliber recomendation needed

Any of these calibers will do what you want, and do it well. Personally, I'd recommend a .308, I believe it's about as versatile as it comes.

I think, in my own opinion, that if I was buying a...
