If you want to face the tree, go with the Summit 180. I too swear by summit. I had a tree lounger originally, good stand, a little heavy though. I also love the summit loc system.

I've always wanted to go Mule deer hunting in Montana, but I would have to say Iowa, or Pike County, Illinois. Out of the states though, its definately Saskatchewan. Being from Louisiana, I dont know...

I agree. I've also seen him make some terrible shots, but thats ok because that kind of thing happens. Still, You shouldn't put those vids on TV though, it gives us hunters a bad reputation.

That has happened to me once before. It's because the shoulder is so scarred up on older hogs from fighting. I only shoot hogs with a bow if they are quartering away.

I don't worry about the scent too much, it's the movement and the noise that will give you away. I walk VERY slowly through the woods, looking for squirrels. I only shoot rabbits if I kick one up....

Two of my friends shoot Fred Bear compounds. One shoots the element and the other shoots the truth. They both love them.
