One of the big differences here is that fighting dogs are raised specifically to fight and suffer. When you are running an animal down, there is no premeditated thought of torturing the animal.

The recoil is comfortable for me... a bit heavy, but easily tolerable.... after 20 rounds on the range my shoulder...

Knee replacement sucks.... They have come a long way with it though. I've had two on each knee, the first were heavy and painful all the time, they finally had to be replaced after about 10 years....

The Omega is a great one, the only problem I have with mine is with the scope. It's difficult to get the cap in with the scope on. A break barrel would be more convenient.
