I doubt power pro is the best braid out there now. Fireline braid is an 8 strand braid while power pro is a 4 strand braid. There's several other 8 strand braids like Ultracast. Those braids are...

Nope, ya need real frogs. Try it some time with some lead to weigh em' down once your frog season starts. You always get a bite and will get tons even when the frogs...

The rod to me doesn't matter a whole lot. The reel and the line mean much more. A cheap rod with braid is more sensitive than an expensive one with mono.
