RE: Are Kimber Rifles IT.

Oh yeah, if you do get a kimber dont take the barrel off untill you shoot it. Their barrels are good(made in house).

RE: Sling Stix any good?

I like shooting sticks but only in open areas. The sling sticks look like they would get in the way of things always on the sling. I like keeping mine on my butt-pack waist strap.

RE: new rifle break in

Clean the rifle before you go to the range. Then use a dry patch or two to make sure bore is dry before shooting. You dont want oil in bore when fireing because this causes higher pressures in bore....

RE: Marlin 45-70 1895 which one?

If you have trouble finding a good selection of 45-70 ammo in your area just go on line. There are a bunch of really good rounds made for the new rifles.

RE: Marlin 45-70 1895 which one?

I have the guide gun and really like it. The porting isnt that much loader and if you step up to full house loads (Buffalo Bore or Garrett) the porting helps with recoil. For most of my hunting I...

RE: The Win 70 Is Back

If you want a great 70 type rifle go with the Kimber 8400 standard(long action). You won't be sorry and it will be better than anything Browning/ Winchester puts out.

RE: Remington 7615 ? has anyone used it yet

I fail to see the use of a pump 223 in a tactical role. I would want an auto loader.

RE: New Remington 710 rifle

RE: browning blr vs. remington 7600

Remington synthetic stocks are not very good. It you go with Rem. you will want to change the stock out for an after market one.

Kimber 8400

I purchased a Kimber 8400 in 30-06 last week and put a VXIII on it. I really like this rifle. It is light and handles great. I used three brands of ammo in 150 and 165 grains. All of them fired...

RE: Redneck vs. Outdoorsmen
