RE: shot the new Hoyt Katerra

With all the hype Hoyt put out for their new line this year it was a dissapointment. I could tinker with a Vulcan for 15 minutes and make it 5fps faster so whats the big deal. I'm not saying no...

RE: shot the new Hoyt Katerra

Its more like they renamed their lineup, not much of a revamp. The Katera should be faster than your Trykon, but compare the Katera to the Vulcan that is replaced and what's the big change? I'm...

RE: '08 Bows Truth2, Diamond Marquis, Bowtech General

Well Brother, in the end only you can decide what you should do, but I know that if it were me, and the shop that is 50 miles away is selling them for the correct price, I would be on my way there...

RE: 2008 Hoyt

RE: Whiskery biscuit

If you're refering to me, I didn't say I was using vanes I said I was using feathers, and with an 83 pound Tribute it will start ripping feathers off your arrows in short order. Two other hunting...

RE: '08 Bows Truth2, Diamond Marquis, Bowtech General

I know MSRP is higher than the $750, but I've checked with 3 of the dealers in my area, and they have all said that there isn't a bow in the 2008 Bowtech lineup that will be selling for more than an...

RE: Good Hunting Knife?

Benchmade and Spyderco are great knives, but its hard to beat a Buck knife for both price and durability.

RE: Whiskery biscuit

I used a WB for a couple seasons, was a good rest, but depends on what you're shooting. I shot feathers with my Tribute last year and the WB ripped themright off after a few shots. So I switched to...

RE: Redmond Outdoors

I ordered a dozen Ted Nugent Gold Tips with custom feathers and right helical from them last year, came quick and very well done, I guess its luck of the draw with them, too bad, they seemed like a...

RE: Survival Bow

I too would get over the "No evil guns" thing too and bring a good revolver. But if you must have a bow I think Whisper Creek or one of those smaller bow companies makes a really short a to a bow...

RE: crimson

I used them for half a season a couple years ago, not too fond of them, switched to G5 Montecs and love them. But everyone will like something different I guess, just shoot em and see.

RE: Any Oneida Fans

Never shot one, but my buddy Uncle Ted usually has one in his hands so it must be pretty good. I'd like to try one, but man they look long and heavy.

RE: Best Sight

For my money you can't beat Copper John, very nice sights for not too bad a price. Had the HHA 5000 with the new dial on the side, was nice but man was that heavy, with my Bowtech not being lite by...

RE: '08 Bows Truth2, Diamond Marquis, Bowtech General

You're getting hosed brother, the most any 2008 Bowtech is supposed to be selling for is $749.00, without custom camo option of course. If I were you I would find a different Pro Shop. I just ordered...
