All I use up here in Canada is a Browning lever either 300wm or 325wsm. I will be buying a 308BLR for deer from now on. Great gun fast in the bush very reliable and safe.

I have used both and would give the edge to the BLR due to the fact that the safety on the BLR allows you to chamber and then place the hammer a halfcock. Makes an awsome bush gun I am also buying a...

I just bought a 325wsm BLR and it kicks the s**t out of my 338 Abolt weight action and length. There is no noticable diff. in accuracy either. Go with 325wsm you can not loose.
